Your gift will enable us to go where the problems are with practical help. Shelter provides a whole range of services to help homeless and badly housed people.

We provide services such as Shelter’s housing helpline, a free national telephone advice line and advice and support from our website.  Both services offer information to people facing housing problems, day or night.

We also run over 50 housing aid centres, which advise on problems like rent and mortgage arrears, domestic violence and harassment.  Other initiatives we operate include our Homeless to Home and Families projects. These projects give homeless families the practical and emotional support to cope in their new house and settle in to the community. And thanks to people like you we can continue to campaign for changes in the law and give legal advice to people who are being treated unfairly.  So on behalf of everyone here at Shelter, we just want to say thank you.”
