Summer Fayre: It was agreed that this would be held on the 16th May from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Sheena Jeffrey would be contacting RNLI, Fire, Police etc. and asking if they wished to attend. Sheena would also organise the raffle and prizes as normal. C Wistow suggested that as the Scholastic Book Fayre would also be here at that time the children could perhaps dress up in the costume of their favourite book character. Jenny Moss said she would contact John Penrose and ask if he would like to attend the fayre. Disco: This was to take place on 2nd April from 6 until 8.30 p.m. Bernie Richardson has said he will organise it and asked for a donation from the committee. It was agreed £150 to pay for the disco and food. All agreed. Easter egg Hunt: This was to take place on the last day of term and would take the usual format. Carole Wistow asked for a donation. It was agreed that this purchase could go ahead. Sheena asked if she should purchase the Mega Darts game for the summer fayre. This was agreed. Jenny Moss reported on the Bags for School project. Parents would be asked to send in clothes, etc. to school and these would then be collected by the company and we would receive money from them. £200 per metric ton. It was agreed that she should look into this idea. Next Meeting: 23rd April 2009 at 5.30 p.m. Meeting Closed at: 6.15 p.m.
