Thursday

After a leisurely breakfast we made our way to Nausicca where we looked around the sea life centre, the biggest in Europe.

The children were very interested in all the creatures there but one of the favourites was the penguins.  One was looking out of the window at the people on the beach below, he also came over to the glass to look at the children.  We are sure he wanted to come with us.

Nausicca is very much concerned with conservation and so we watched a presentation on saving the planet before we went in to see the sharks, sea lions, etc.

After lunch there we went to the beach for an ice cream and then walked back along the sea front to look at the fish stalls and the fishing boats before making our way back to the supermarket to buy any last minute presents.

The evening ended with the children playing pool with Mr Merry before having an early night ready for the journey home,
