     Goblin Combe  -  Year 7 and Year 8 residential  -  1st and 2nd June 2009                      What the pupils say
Below are the pupils comments about the experience:
Year 7

Harley: "I really liked den-making when we used sticks and hay.  We even made a seat out of a log."

Jamie: "It was incredible to have a first hand experience to have a night in the woods to do things like lighting fires and making dens which I have never done before.  Without any question I would definitely go there again."

Joe: "My favourite part was helping the teachers cook."

Rhianna: "My favourite thing at Goblin Combe was the campfire."

Sophie: "The best bit was everything!  I would like to go back again.  We did den building, fire making, hot chocolate and chocolate spread marshmallows."

Max: "My best bit at Goblin Combe was the singing round the fire."

Naomi: "I liked the den making best."

Nathan: "The blindfold game was great."

Sam: "I liked making trails in the field."

 

Year 8

Brandon: "I really enjoyed playing rounders and football".

Charlotte: I really liked playing on the field".

Daniel B: "I really enjoyed staying in the lodge at Goblin Combe".

Daniel E: "The den making was very easy".

George: "At Goblin Combe I enjoyed the food, all of the activities, building dens in the woods and playing bats and moths".

Jamie: "I'm still tired".

Kamal: "I enjoyed it all".

Katie M: "I really liked making bread".

Katy G: "I liked going in the woods and making the dens and going on a long walk".

Jack: "I liked the food".

Sam: "I liked the den making".

Ryan: "I liked the food and sitting round the camp fire".
